Position Summary
Wittenberg University is seeking Adjunct Nursing instructors to teach Pedatric and Medical /Surgical cllinicals . Clinicals take place on varying days of the week between 7:00 a.m and 5:00 pm .
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Teaching: Deliver courses as assigned (Pediatric, or Medical/Surgical Clinicals Demonstrate effective teaching as evidenced by Faculty and Course Evaluations by Students and Peer Review Demonstrate support for community and belonging, as well as participate in maintaining a respectful, positive work environment. Perform other relevant duties as assigned, such as special projects, programs, and developmental activities.
Required Qualifications
Masters in Nursing. Active, unencumbered, unrestricted Ohio Registered Nurse license or eligibility for an Ohio RN license in Ohio. Advanced practice nurses must hold and active Certificate of Authority. Commitment to excellence in teaching and learning consistent with the University’s mission and goals. Strong commitment and interest in teaching in the liberal arts and sciences context. Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check as required.
Preferred Qualifications
College level-teaching and work experience is preferred.
